As the New Year is around the corner many of you would have already chosen your Smartphone of the Year but wait let me stop you there! What if I tell you while others are adopting iPhone like notch it has a best in the class display with no notch, supported by a flagship processor with flagship level specs and wait there is more to tell… A HEADPHONE JACK!
Let’s end the suspense here and come straight to the point, I am talking about the Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+. Launched in the January this year for about 850$ (roughly about 60,000 Rs) depends on your region. Always at the end of the month, the note series steals the limelight of the S series. Everyone is so busy appreciating the beauty and the performance of the Note 9, the Samsung Galaxy S9 is now forgotten.
As Samsung released their sales report it was clearly seen that the S9 didn’t do well as expected. Due to this, the price of the phone dropped down too much.
The Galaxy S9 scored decently in many tests of the Youtuber’s. Now you will say The Oneplus 6T is a better option in this price segment with an in-display fingerprint scanner, more ram, faster performance, better battery, dash charger, and the regular updates. But some don’t notice what the Samsung galaxy has to offer, a premium design, better cameras with dual apertures, wireless charging, water, and dust resistant, best display with no notch, headphone jack with AKG earphones, better stere0 speakers.
A thing to look out is that Samsung has optimized their UI and is now called as One UI, there will be a competition between One UI and the Oxygen OS.
The Samsung Galaxy S9+ will be around 550$ on eBay, search a little you will definitely find a good deal for the phone. If you are planning to buy a Galaxy S9 now or in early 2019 then you won’t be disappointed. It is surely a good pick.
